Sauce Daddy

When a corporate investigator is hired to find the whereabouts of a repugnant pizza chain CEO, her investigation slowly reveals the portrait of a toxic male who built a multimillion dollar pizza empire and destroyed every personal relationship in the process. Loosely based on the rise and fall of Papa John’s founder and former CEO Papa John Schnatter, the story tackles the solar systems created by rich influencers too big to get #MeToo-ed, and the people in their orbits getting rich without consequence.

SauceDaddy

The comic book Sauce Daddy also won a grant from the Flemish Literature fund for €20,000 to write, draw and publish the book. We’re currently pitching the book to publishers.

Assholes

Assholes is a graphic novel about two game show hosts who fail to connect with one another as they play their annual, friendly game of golf.

AssholesBook

My partner Bram Algoed and I won a grant from the Flemish Literature fund for €20,000 to write, draw and publish the book. You can find the first Dutch-language publication available across comic book stores in Holland and Belgium. Stay tune for the English language version!

And here’s an interview we did about the book:

The Big Night

The Big Night is a book I wrote, illustrated by my friend and collaborator Bram Algoed. It’s the story of a French boy meeting a Senegalese soldier fighting in France.

Click on the picture below to see more images from the book. It’s riso printed so you know it’s cool.

CHRISTMAS

This is a book I worked on in grad school. It’s another illustrated short story, this one written by Belgian author Annelies Verbeke. I actually bound and printed the book, but below is the digital version (less cool but more free). The illustrations were made in micron pen.
